Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Åhlberg got the match started through his kick off. Rune Bruhn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petter Kullander in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Mörarp FK's Thor Gustavsson got a free kick in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mörarp FK's zone, Petter Ålberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stellan Askelöf came out of the goal and Petter Ålberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petter Kullander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Rune Bruhn made a huge save. Rune Bruhn was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Lars Axelsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lars Axelsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 14th minute, Kent Åkesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Petter Ålberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stellan Askelöf was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Axelsson in the 23rd minute of play forced Njurunda IK's goalkeeper Rune Bruhn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Bruhn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kjell-Arne Gustavsson in the 28th minute. The supporters of Njurunda IK booed when Mörarp FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Kielberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stellan Askelöf having to make a save. In the 35th minute Kjell-Arne Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Bruhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Åhlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Njurunda IK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Åhlberg came free, but Rune Bruhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonny Bäckström charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonny Bäckström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Mörarp FK got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Bäckström. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petter Ålberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Petter Ålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stellan Askelöf having to interfere. In the 52nd match minute, Mörarp FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Tomas Åhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Njurunda IK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Åhlberg came free, but Rune Bruhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Bruhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Axelsson in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Lars Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Petter Kullander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Bruhn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 71st minute, Lars Axelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mörarp FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Stellan Askelöf made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Petter Ålberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute Petter Kullander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Petter Kullander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mörarp FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 85 played minutes Mörarp FK got a freekick which was hit by Petter Kullander. Stellan Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Kielberg in the 86th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Njurunda IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Sandström to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match Kjell-Arne Gustavsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rune Bruhn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Mörarp FK were the better team. Mörarp FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
