Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Kura Shetakan's Kong Yuan Sha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes of play, Kura Shetakan's Olov Örtlund made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wiktor Westerstrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gordon Banks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Skålberg in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kong Yuan Sha in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiktor Westerstrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18thth minute of the game Kong Yuan Sha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stockholm Snakes's Wiktor Westerstrand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kura Shetakan were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Stockholm Snakes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Delbert Grady took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Song Shu Zhen advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Göran Ahlbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kura Shetakan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stockholm Snakes the free kick. After 22 played minutes Kura Shetakan got a freekick which was hit by Göran Ahlbom. In the 29th minute Delbert Grady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Westerstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Stockholm Snakes's Johan Sjöberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gordon Banks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to Stockholm Snakes getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jan Jakisz hit a great ball. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stockholm Snakes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Delbert Grady was slow to take the kick. During this time Kura Shetakan's players had a chance to rest. Wiktor Westerstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delbert Grady, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kura Shetakan were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Stockholm Snakes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Delbert Grady took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Song Shu Zhen got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-4. 44 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johan Sjöberg to make the kick off. Daniel Skúlason kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Daniel Skúlason mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockholm Snakes and the Kura Shetakan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stockholm Snakes's Daniel Skúlason got a free kick in the 54th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kura Shetakan's Delbert Grady slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wiktor Westerstrand. That made the score 1-5 after 58 minutes of play. Delbert Grady could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Wiktor Westerstrand made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Kura Shetakan's zone, Johan Sjöberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gordon Banks came out of the goal and Johan Sjöberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olov Örtlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Wiktor Westerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Törnqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Johan Sjöberg made a precise shot to the right of Gordon Banks. Kura Shetakan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Gordon Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Sjöberg in the 75th minute of play. Kong Yuan Sha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiktor Westerstrand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kong Yuan Sha's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Alf Isaksson kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Stockholm Snakes's Wiktor Westerstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kong Yuan Sha in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match Kura Shetakan got a corner. Stockholm Snakes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delbert Grady ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kura Shetakan's Delbert Grady was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wiktor Westerstrand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Göran Ahlbom got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Kura Shetakan getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Göran Ahlbom hit a great ball. After 89th play minutes Kong Yuan Sha shot 2-6, a short shot which went by Wiktor Westerstrand and just under the crossbar into goal. Gordon Banks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Skålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
