Daniel Myr's late challenge caught a Hällby Hellballers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Myr helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Faxe Kondi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Myr to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Rune Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Daniel Myr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Månsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Malte Mattsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Åke Månsson. Hällby Hellballers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Malte Mattsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Hällby Hellballers's Manfred Grep got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Rune Lund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Åke Månsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Lund in the 33rd minute of play forced Hällby Hellballers's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, Hällby Hellballers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Nyström to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Ekeberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan-Åke Månsson. Hällby Hellballers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 44 played minutes Faxe Kondi FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Myr. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rune Lund made a kick off. Hällby Hellballers's Gösta Kråk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edvin Dahlman, made in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute, Edvin Dahlman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan-Åke Månsson. The goal made the score 0-4. 64 minutes into the match, Hällby Hellballers's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Lund came free, but Jan-Åke Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Månsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malte Mattsson in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Sture Dahlqvist threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hällby Hellballers's Birger Galle quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 73rd minute, Dag Sundberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hällby Hellballers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Birger Galle hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Faxe Kondi FC's Rune Lund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan-Åke Månsson. That made the score 1-5 after 80 minutes of play. After 83 played minutes Hällby Hellballers got a freekick which was hit by Agne Kilman. When Malte Mattsson came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Faxe Kondi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malte Mattsson couldn't finish the play. Rune Lund was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Faxe Kondi FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Rune Lund came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Faxe Kondi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Lund couldn't finish the play. Jan-Åke Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Myr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Faxe Kondi FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hällby Hellballers.
