Spectators: 7456 (Terracing: 5593, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olle Nordkvist started the match with the kick off. Alf Vinström took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magnus Löv. Magnus Löv dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Majestic Vadstena's Olle Nordkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Wikander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesper Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jim Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Löv having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Evert Brolin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. André Wikander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Nordkvist in the 13th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Majestic Vadstena's goalkeeper Magnus Löv, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Majestic Vadstena's Magnus Löv got control of the ball when Evert Brolin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Majestic Vadstena's Magnus Löv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Majestic Vadstena from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Norrtälje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesper Bengtsson came free, but André Wikander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Söderberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Magnus Löv came out and tried to block the shot, but Jim Söderberg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 33rd minute. When Evert Brolin came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Norrtälje FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Brolin couldn't finish the play. Evert Brolin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Magnus Löv made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Mats Eckegren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Magnus Löv, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Eckegren got free with Magnus Löv in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evert Brolin to strike the kick off in the second half. Evert Brolin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magnus Löv stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evert Brolin's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. If Evert Brolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norrtälje FC's André Wikander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Norrtälje FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evert Brolin in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magnus Löv prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Wikander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Nordkvist in the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Majestic Vadstena's zone, Evert Brolin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magnus Löv came out of the goal and Evert Brolin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, Norrtälje FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Vinström to maneuver through the defense. Majestic Vadstena's Magnus Löv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Brolin in the 74th minute of play. Magnus Löv came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Norrtälje FC's Evert Brolin. But to his dismay, Evert Brolin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 92 minutes into the match, Majestic Vadstena's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Brolin came free, but Magnus Löv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match, Olle Nordkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but André Wikander saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. There was no doubt that Norrtälje FC were the better team. Norrtälje FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
