Arne Bank took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michael Persson. Långholmen FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Jan Wallgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Långholmen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hedemora the free kick. Jan Wallgren hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Knut Back managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långholmen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Back was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Knut Back in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joakim Vennerdal saved Hedemora from getting behind. Michael Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Jansson in the 13th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Magnus Nord put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Långholmen FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hedemora:s goal. The goalkeeper, Michael Persson, was totally fooled by Hedemora's Arne Bank, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 19 minutes, Jan Wallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långholmen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Wallgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joakim Vennerdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Back, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joakim Vennerdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Back in the 26th minute of the match. A hard shot 27 in the game by Harald Kleen from a close distance when the talented Michael Persson managed to make a qualified save. Långholmen FC's players were relieved. Joakim Vennerdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Knut Back's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jan Wallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Långholmen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Wallgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Vennerdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Hedemora getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gösta Bergkvist hit a great ball. Joakim Vennerdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Back in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Jan Wallgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Knut Back came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Långholmen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Back couldn't finish the play. After 46 minutes of play, Långholmen FC's Knut Back made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joakim Vennerdal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sverker Jansson made a kick off. Knut Back blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joakim Vennerdal having to make a save. 61 minutes in the game, Knut Back fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joakim Vennerdal having to interfere. Joakim Vennerdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Julin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Christoffersson charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Christoffersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hedemora's Eric Christoffersson got a free kick in the 64th minute. The long shot by Ralf Julin in the 65th minute really tested Joakim Vennerdal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Joakim Vennerdal came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Långholmen FC's Jan Wallgren. But to his dismay, Jan Wallgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 74th minute, Knut Back got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 played minutes Hedemora got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Dahlkvist. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Wallgren got free with Joakim Vennerdal in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Wallgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joakim Vennerdal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Knut Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Vennerdal having to interfere. Knut Back was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Långholmen FC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Långholmen FC's Jan Wallgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Knut Back had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Långholmen FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hedemora.
