Wictor Rudberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven Västberg. Norrlandsfotboll FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute, Wictor Rudberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Fristedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Arne Ödman sped through Aktiebolaget's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johannes Johansson. In the 19th minute, Arne Ödman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Arne Ödman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johannes Johansson. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. When Norrlandsfotboll FC's Arne Ödman in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aktiebolaget's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Norrlandsfotboll FC's goalkeeper Sven Västberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Ström in the 40th minute of play forced Norrlandsfotboll FC's goalkeeper Sven Västberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Alf Hård managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norrlandsfotboll FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Hård was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Olof Ström was the one to do the kick off. Vidar Bruse charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vidar Bruse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Aktiebolaget got a freekick which was hit by Vidar Bruse. In the 57thth minute of the game Arne Ödman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aktiebolaget's Johannes Johansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magnus Svanberg during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Norrlandsfotboll FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Svanberg to maneuver through the defense. Sven Västberg stood somewhat misplaced when Hannes Frisk came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 67 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Frisk in the 71st minute of play forced Norrlandsfotboll FC's goalkeeper Sven Västberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannes Frisk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sven-Olof Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Norrlandsfotboll FC's Sonny Carlsson got a free kick in the 74th minute. Sven-Olof Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arne Ödman in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johannes Johansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Hannes Frisk came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Aktiebolaget fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Frisk couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Norrlandsfotboll FC's Joachim Snell got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Alf Hård came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Norrlandsfotboll FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Hård couldn't finish the play. After 91 minutes of play, Norrlandsfotboll FC's Arne Ödman made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johannes Johansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hannes Frisk scored 3-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven Västberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Norrlandsfotboll FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aktiebolaget had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
