Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Tomas Persson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gösta Kellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaf Hake kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Gösta Kellbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Grebbestad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grebbestad's Tomas Persson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Grebbestad from getting a goal against them. If Roy Kalfhage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th match minute, Grebbestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Hake to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Sellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Mårtensson in the 38th minute of the match. If Ivan Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Krister Ödman got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Pontus Skoog came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Grebbestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Skoog couldn't finish the play. Grebbestad's Mattias Mårtensson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Paulin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Tomas Persson made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Pontus Skoog made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Stefan Colin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grebbestad the free kick. In the 59th minute of the match, Mattias Mårtensson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexander Sellberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 64 minutes into the game, Arsenal FC's Gösta Kellbom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Persson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Stefan Colin hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Albert Påk came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Grebbestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Påk couldn't finish the play. Tomas Persson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Kellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Grebbestad's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Kellbom came free, but Tomas Persson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erland Fransson hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Grebbestad's Tomas Persson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Kellbom in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Grebbestad's zone, Ivan Paulin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Persson came out of the goal and Ivan Paulin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grebbestad's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Arsenal FC had won, even though Grebbestad had held more of the ball.
