After a rather tough play, Skills Academy's Tommy Jespersson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the game, Nils Nyqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skills Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandared IK the free kick. A collision led to Skills Academy getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nils Nyqvist hit a great ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Örjan Willig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandared IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Willig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mårten Westerstrand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Oskar Haraldsson's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Joar Alebäck got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 18th minute of the match Sandared IK got a corner. Skills Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kenneth Josefsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sandared IK's corner Kenneth Josefsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andreas Dahlberg quite easily take care of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Sandared IK's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Oskar Haraldsson came free, but Mårten Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Joar Alebäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skills Academy's Andreas Dahlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Skills Academy from getting a goal against them. Mårten Westerstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Oskar Haraldsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Oskar Haraldsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mårten Westerstrand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per-Oskar Haraldsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Örjan Willig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Andreas Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Joar Alebäck made the kick off in the second half. When Dag Sörman fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skills Academy's protests and gave Dag Sörman a yellow card for diving instead. Dag Sörman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Örjan Willig might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Dahlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Örjan Willig ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skills Academy's goalkeeper Andreas Dahlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute Emanuel Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Sandared IK's Örjan Willig made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Dahlberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Per-Oskar Haraldsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Westerstrand having to interfere. Emanuel Eriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Eriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Sandared IK got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Eriksson. When Per-Oskar Haraldsson came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Skills Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Oskar Haraldsson couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, William Strömberg took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Mårten Westerstrand to make any attempt to save it. Joar Alebäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandared IK's Mårten Westerstrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Sandared IK from getting a goal against them. When Örjan Willig came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sandared IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Örjan Willig couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, William Strömberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mårten Westerstrand, passed just outside the right post. William Strömberg struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Mårten Westerstrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skills Academy. Andreas Dahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Willig in the 88th minute of the match. Andreas Dahlberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örjan Willig's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Örjan Willig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Andreas Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandared IK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
