In the 9th minute Harald Kleen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hedemora's Joakim Vennerdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvald Kollberg in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Hedemora's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Kollberg came free, but Joakim Vennerdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudolf Björk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Joakim Vennerdal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Osvald Kollberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Hedemora's Harald Kleen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Björn Wallin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sverker Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flyers SC's goalkeeper Björn Wallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, Flyers SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Wiman to maneuver through the defense. Björn Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Kleen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Sverker Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvald Kollberg's late challenge caught a Hedemora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvald Kollberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Flyers SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvald Kollberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Kollberg in the 41st minute of play forced Hedemora's goalkeeper Joakim Vennerdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvald Kollberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Joakim Vennerdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sverker Jansson's late challenge caught a Flyers SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sverker Jansson helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes Hedemora got a freekick which was hit by Sverker Jansson. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvald Kollberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flyers SC's Björn Wallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Flyers SC from getting a goal against them. Harald Kleen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Wallin having to interfere. Ingvar Wiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Vennerdal having to interfere. Hedemora's Harald Kleen got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hedemora's Eric Christoffersson got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Eric Christoffersson off the ground. After some careless play in the Hedemora defense, Rudolf Björk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joakim Vennerdal. The Hedemora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joakim Vennerdal should have stopped the shot. Joakim Vennerdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Kollberg in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Hedemora's Harald Kleen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Björn Wallin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jens Ahlerot fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flyers SC's protests and gave Jens Ahlerot a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Flyers SC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jens Ahlerot hit a great ball. If Harald Kleen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
