The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Hannes Frisk could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Kjell Sundin however easily saved by the left post. Kjell Sundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hannes Frisk in the 8th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Kjell Bäck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kjell Sundin. Kjell Bäck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bo-Erik Ekenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Hannes Frisk could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Kjell Sundin however easily saved by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Brunna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Bruse came free, but Kjell Sundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernst Bennet charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernst Bennet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brunna FF's Ernst Bennet got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Wictor Rudberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kjell Sundin skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Jespersson in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johannes Johansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johannes Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Nordin in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommy Jespersson made a kick off. Tommy Jespersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kjell Sundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Frisk, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Brunna FF's Tommy Jespersson got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brunna FF's Joachim Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Jespersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hannes Frisk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Sundin having to interfere. Aktiebolaget's Johannes Johansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Aktiebolaget from getting a goal against them. After having played for 75 minutes, Tommy Jespersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brunna FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Jespersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Brunna FF getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tommy Jespersson hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommy Jespersson got free with Johannes Johansson in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Aktiebolaget booed when Brunna FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aktiebolaget walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
