Michael Persson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Wallengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Aktiebolaget's goalkeeper Johannes Johansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mats Lindberg. 18 minutes into the match, Mats Lindberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Johansson. Aktiebolaget's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mats Lindberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Mats Lindberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Johannes Johansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Frisk in the 30th minute of play forced Långholmen FC's goalkeeper Michael Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Johansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Lindberg in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the Aktiebolaget defense, Mats Lindberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johannes Johansson. The Aktiebolaget fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johannes Johansson should have stopped the shot. Knut Back struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Johannes Johansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långholmen FC. Johannes Johansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mats Lindberg went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Olof Ström made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Ström in the 53rd minute of play forced Långholmen FC's goalkeeper Michael Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannes Frisk in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
