The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Hedemora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Uggstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Hurtig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Joakim Vennerdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Jansson in the 15th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Alexander Sellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenal FC's Gösta Kellbom was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With an all-out effort, Arsenal FC's Joakim Vennerdal threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gösta Kellbom, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alexander Sellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Vennerdal having to interfere. Gösta Kellbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Tom Hurtig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Hurtig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joakim Vennerdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Hurtig in the 37th minute of the match. Joakim Vennerdal was a little too slow when Peter Jansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 4-0. Ivan Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

If Gösta Kellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Ivan Paulin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gösta Kellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Peter Jansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joakim Vennerdal was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Tom Hurtig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harald Kleen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alexander Sellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Hedemora got a freekick which was hit by Harald Kleen. In the 70th minute, Peter Jansson made a precise shot to the right of Joakim Vennerdal. Hedemora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Gösta Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Vennerdal having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Hedemora's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hurtig came free, but Joakim Vennerdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krister Ödman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joakim Vennerdal. Hedemora's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eric Christoffersson kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Gösta Kellbom struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Joakim Vennerdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal FC. Harald Kleen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Alexander Sellberg made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Arsenal FC had played much better football throughout.
