Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Enrique Juvenal kicked off to start the match. Mårten Westerstrand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Örjan Willig's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Gösta Lundgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Bayer Neverlosen's Robin Alefors got a free kick in the 34th minute. The long shot by Robert Hellström in the 35th minute really tested Gösta Lundgren's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Enrique Juvenal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sandared IK's Mårten Westerstrand. Mårten Westerstrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 48 minutes into the match, Sandared IK's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Mossberg came free, but Mårten Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joar Alebäck to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joar Alebäck in the 53rd minute of play forced Bayer Neverlosen's goalkeeper Gösta Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olof Lång was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Sandared IK's Mårten Westerstrand got control of the ball when Stefan Gustafsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Roland Hernström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayer Neverlosen's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Hernström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Roland Hernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bayer Neverlosen booed when Sandared IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joar Alebäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Bayer Neverlosen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Hernström to maneuver through the defense. Joar Alebäck might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gösta Lundgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joar Alebäck ran back to his position shaking his head. Tobias Henriksson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Stefan Gustafsson struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Mårten Westerstrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bayer Neverlosen. Bayer Neverlosen's Gösta Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joar Alebäck in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sandared IK's Robert Hellström got a free kick in the 95th minute. Mårten Westerstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Mossberg in the 98th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Bayer Neverlosen failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
