After a defensive mix-up in Grebbestad's zone, Enrique Juvenal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Persson came out of the goal and Enrique Juvenal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bayer Neverlosen getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Robin Alefors hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pontus Skoog in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gösta Lundgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pontus Skoog's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Gösta Lundgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Bayer Neverlosen defense, Pontus Skoog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gösta Lundgren. The Bayer Neverlosen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gösta Lundgren should have stopped the shot. Roland Hernström kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Bayer Neverlosen booed when Grebbestad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Hake didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Juvenal hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Bayer Neverlosen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Hernström to maneuver through the defense. Roland Hernström hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute, Pontus Skoog left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grebbestad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 56th minute, Stig-Arne Gadd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roy Kalfhage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Olof Lund charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Olof Lund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven-Olof Lund hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Bayer Neverlosen's Gösta Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stellan Wallmark in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Bayer Neverlosen getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Enrique Juvenal hit a great ball. Mattias Mårtensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gösta Lundgren having to make a save. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bayer Neverlosen! Roy Kalfhage, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Grebbestad's Pontus Skoog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gösta Lundgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
