Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kent Stenquist made the kick off which started today's match. Joseph Nyberg made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kåre Eriksson however managed to control. 4 minutes into the match, Steakhouse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rei Marco came free, but Christopher Säf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Steakhouse FC's Alvin Magnusson got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Kent Stenquist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 14th minute, Joseph Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steakhouse FC's Alvin Magnusson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Allan Vesterberg, made in the 20th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Älmestad BK's Ingvar Örtlund got a free kick in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the game, Rei Marco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christopher Säf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute, Kent Stenquist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 31st minute, Kent Stenquist made a precise shot to the right of William Pihlberg. Älmestad BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Kent Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelle Högström struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. William Pihlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steakhouse FC. 42 minutes into the match, Kent Stenquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Pihlberg. Älmestad BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kent Stenquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rei Marco made a kick off. If Alvin Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes of play, Steakhouse FC's Kent Stenquist made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Pihlberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Alvin Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Kent Stenquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Kent Stenquist notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Älmestad BK's William Pihlberg. William Pihlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kent Stenquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kent Stenquist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Pihlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Älmestad BK got a freekick which was hit by Jim Billing. After a rather tough play, Älmestad BK's Rei Marco got a free kick in the 80th minute. Kent Stenquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alvin Magnusson came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Steakhouse FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvin Magnusson couldn't finish the play. Kent Stenquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Pihlberg having to interfere. Steakhouse FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
