Spectators: 7136 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Calle Sellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Arhenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Jan-Olof Pihlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Örnsköldsvik FC's goalkeeper Dag Flink had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jon Rydberg. If Jan-Olof Pihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dag Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolf Arhenius came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Örnsköldsvik FC's Calle Sellberg. But to his dismay, Calle Sellberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christer Askberg during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Örnsköldsvik FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Christer Askberg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Smatter's Andréas Smedfeldt got a free kick in the 25th minute. Dag Flink didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Mark Ekenberg notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Smatter's Rudolf Arhenius. Rudolf Arhenius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute, Smatter's Örjan Ek seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Örjan Ek the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Smatter protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Örjan Ek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 38 minutes into the game, one of Smatter:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gilbert Lindström shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Sonny Lidberg kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calle Sellberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Smatter's Jon Rydberg got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andréas Smedfeldt's late challenge caught a Örnsköldsvik FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andréas Smedfeldt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Andréas Smedfeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Jon Rydberg put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dag Flink. In the 72nd minute Gottfrid Lööf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Arhenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calle Sellberg charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calle Sellberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Örnsköldsvik FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Calle Sellberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Örnsköldsvik FC's zone, Andréas Smedfeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dag Flink came out of the goal and Andréas Smedfeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Alexander Ugla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smatter's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Ugla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dag Flink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Olof Pihlberg hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Smatter's Jon Rydberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dag Flink narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Örnsköldsvik FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan-Olof Pihlberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Smatter's players had a chance to rest. Jon Rydberg struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Dag Flink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smatter. Despite being the better team, Smatter failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
