Ulrik Arenstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Billström, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Conny Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al Nassr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conny Eliasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dime Jankulovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Benett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cyberdyne United defense, Oihan Arribas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulrik Arenstedt. The Cyberdyne United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulrik Arenstedt should have stopped the shot. Ulrik Arenstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Eliasson in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oihan Arribas got free with Ulrik Arenstedt in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Al Nassr's Christer Stolpe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulrik Arenstedt. That made the score 3-0 after 35 minutes of play. Ulrik Arenstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conny Eliasson went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Ulrik Arenstedt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Oihan Arribas could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Ulrik Arenstedt however easily saved by the left post. 45 minutes into the game, Christer Stolpe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulrik Arenstedt. Christer Stolpe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thor Benett to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Stolpe in the 60th minute of play forced Cyberdyne United's goalkeeper Ulrik Arenstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Stolpe kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Christer Stolpe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ulrik Arenstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thor Benett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dime Jankulovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Cyberdyne United's goal looked a bit too open when William Walroth came free, but Ulrik Arenstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cyberdyne United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulrik Arenstedt should have stopped the shot. Al Nassr's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
