Spectators: 7350 (Terracing: 5587, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonas Häll started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Jonas Häll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Flyinge's Tony Walroth got a free kick in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Walroth in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gösta Hafström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tony Walroth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute Tony Walroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Häll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Olof Ekeberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Fredrik Ahlroht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flyinge's Olof Ekeberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Häll in the 39th minute of play. Jonas Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Ekeberg having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Walroth to strike the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Konrad Ambjörnsson with Marcus Broberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 75 minutes into the game, Konrad Ambjörnsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Påryd IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flyinge the free kick. Konrad Ambjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Fredrik Ahlroht kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Jonas Häll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Jonas Häll notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Flyinge's Olof Ekeberg. Olof Ekeberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
