Jan-Olof Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Fristedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joar Vennerkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jan-Olof Nordström made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Mats Lindholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliver Forsberg. Arsenal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mats Lindholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hampus Stensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jan-Olof Nordström made a huge save. After 18 minutes, Tommy Abelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skarsåsen IK and the Arsenal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 20 minutes, Evert Fristedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Fristedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Roger Eliasson fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skarsåsen IK's protests and gave Roger Eliasson a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Skarsåsen IK got a freekick which was hit by Roger Eliasson. When Joar Vennerkvist fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal FC's protests and gave Joar Vennerkvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Joar Vennerkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Arsenal FC's Joar Vennerkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan-Olof Nordström. Jan-Olof Nordström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 34th minute, Elliot Stenqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Hampus Stensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Per Lund took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jan-Olof Nordström to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evert Fristedt to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfred Pålsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oliver Forsberg having to make a save. If Mats Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Forsberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ingmar Bohlin. Mats Lindholms short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Oliver Forsberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 64th minute, Otto Snell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Arsenal FC defense, Mats Lindholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliver Forsberg. The Arsenal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliver Forsberg should have stopped the shot. In the 86thth minute of the game Evert Fristedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skarsåsen IK's Jan-Olof Nordström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 played minutes Skarsåsen IK got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Abelsson. In the 95th minute, Nils Hjortberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Arsenal FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
