Rickard Arenstedt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Morat having to make a save. Rickard Arenstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Morat having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Jönsson in the 13th minute of play forced Wydad Wogel's goalkeeper Evert Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wydad Wogel's Evert Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Larsson in the 16th minute of play. In the 24th minute Sören Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Jönsson in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Helge Lindell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GRAPPA's Sören Larsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wydad Wogel. Rickard Arenstedt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Morat having to make a save. GRAPPA's Michel Morat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Arenstedt in the 30th minute of play. Evert Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Vik, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Rickard Arenstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of GRAPPA booed when Wydad Wogel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Lindell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sören Larsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Wydad Wogel's Anthon Svartengren got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rickard Arenstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Wydad Wogel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algot Tholsson to maneuver through the defense. Anthon Svartengren scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michel Morat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Vik during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
