Fakrej's Hampus Skröder got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Kaj Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo Axelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hampus Skröder, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torbjörn Kollberg to make the kick off. Gabriel Höijer's late challenge caught a Fakrej's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Greger Alberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Fakrej's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Kollberg came free, but Greger Alberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fakrej booed when Bettna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bo Axelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Skröder in the 95th minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fakrej would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
