Robert Gernberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Björn Dalberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. luxsTars's Leonardo Gernberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Per Bruhn scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dick Skräddare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, luxsTars's Felix Lundgren got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Malmgren in the 16th minute of play forced luxsTars's goalkeeper Robert Gernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. luxsTars were furious when Sven-Ove Eliasson was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 21 minutes into the match, Brian Rolfsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Gernberg. luxsTars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brian Rolfsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Tommy Bröms fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored luxsTars's protests and gave Tommy Bröms a yellow card for diving instead. Tommy Bröms hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. luxsTars's Robert Gernberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save luxsTars from getting a goal against them. Hjalmar Frisk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dick Skräddare having to make a save. Olle Malmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Goteborg's Dick Skräddare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Bröms in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Goteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Ambjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes, luxsTars's Per Bruhn shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dick Skräddare came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in luxsTars reached it. In the 37th minute Ronny Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Skräddare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dick Skräddare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Frisk in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Rolfsson in the 41st minute of play forced luxsTars's goalkeeper Robert Gernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goteborg's Dick Skräddare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Frisk in the 43rd minute of play. Dick Skräddare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Frisk, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Hjalmar Frisk took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dick Skräddare. Dick Skräddare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hjalmar Frisk made a kick off. Robert Gernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olle Malmgren in the 53rd minute of play. luxsTars's Robert Gernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Stor in the 58th minute of play. If Ronny Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 2-3 became the score in the 60th minute when Hjalmar Frisk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Brian Rolfsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goteborg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave luxsTars the free kick. A collision led to Goteborg getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Brian Rolfsson hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Olle Malmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Gernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th match minute, luxsTars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Gernberg to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, luxsTars's goal looked a bit too open when Sture Stor came free, but Robert Gernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dick Skräddare made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ronny Pettersson sent off a good shot on target. luxsTars's Felix Lundgren was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 88th minute, Brian Rolfsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goteborg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Filip Ambjörnsson put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Goteborg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The luxsTars supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing luxsTars would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
