The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Patric Arenius got free in front of the goal in the 3rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Stig Vidman was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Stig Vidman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Danielsson in the 5th minute. A collision led to Åskloster FF getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jens-Ove Bergström hit a great ball. Patric Arenius kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 8thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Åskloster FF's keeper Stig Vidman was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 9th minute, Johnny Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Danielsson in the 12th minute of the match. Stig Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarabjot Abraham in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarabjot Abraham in the 17th minute of play forced Åskloster FF's goalkeeper Stig Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erland Giöck hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Stig Vidman made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Patric Arenius sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Åskloster FF's Bengt Fagrell got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Stig Vidman made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Stefan Odman sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Sarabjot Abraham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Vidman made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Anton Danielsson sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Bohlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, LINDHOLMENS BK's Patric Arenius ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stig Vidman. Stig Vidman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerry Ström to strike the kick off in the second half. Stig Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Danielsson in the 56th minute of play. Bengt Fagrell kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Arenius in the 61st minute of play forced Åskloster FF's goalkeeper Stig Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åskloster FF made a substitution. Elof Molin replaced Oskar Lundin. 69 minutes into the match, Åskloster FF's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Danielsson came free, but Stig Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig Vidman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Åskloster FF's Stig Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Danielsson in the 85th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Åskloster FF's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Rosenberg came free, but Stig Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LINDHOLMENS BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stefan Odman in the 94th minute. LINDHOLMENS BK's Stefan Odman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stig Vidman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. LINDHOLMENS BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Åskloster FF for a fine match.
