Spectators: 7738 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jens-Erik Rydberg started the match with the kick off. Sivert Söder struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Karl-Johan Ahlbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammarby Hornets BK. Sivert Söder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Karl-Johan Ahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ola Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Hammarby Hornets BK's Karl-Johan Ahlbom threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sivert Söder, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th match minute, Hammarby Hornets BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Hammarby Hornets BK's Sivert Söder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl-Johan Ahlbom. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. 19 minutes into the game, Henrik Browald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Raven Saints's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hammarby Hornets BK the free kick. In the 24th match minute, FC Raven Saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Ahlén to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Johan Ahlbom came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Hammarby Hornets BK's Sivert Söder. But to his dismay, Sivert Söder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Sivert Söder notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Raven Saints's Karl-Johan Ahlbom. Karl-Johan Ahlbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ola Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Ahlbom having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Ola Larsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Johan Ahlbom. The goal made the score 4-0. FC Raven Saints's Vilhelm Svanström was substituted for Jens-Erik Rydberg. Karl-Johan Ahlbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sivert Söder's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Sivert Söder might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Johan Ahlbom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sivert Söder ran back to his position shaking his head. If Bengt-Arne Hökqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sivert Söder to make the kick off. Karl-Johan Ahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ola Larsson in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Ahlbom saved FC Raven Saints from getting behind. In the 60th minute Ola Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilhelm Svanström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Detlev Leisibach made a huge save. 63 minutes into the game, Hammarby Hornets BK's Ola Larsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Johan Ahlbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 66 minutes into the match, FC Raven Saints's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Larsson came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ola Larsson came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Hammarby Hornets BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ola Larsson couldn't finish the play. Ola Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Detlev Leisibach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalle Walroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ola Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sivert Söder took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Johan Ahlbom. Karl-Johan Ahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Ola Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Ahlbom having to interfere. There was no doubt that Hammarby Hornets BK were the better team. Hammarby Hornets BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
