A collision led to Marbäcks FF getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Lindberg hit a great ball. Karl-Johan Ahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Engman in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Jens-Erik Rydberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theagenis Vavatsikos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, FC Raven Saints's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Odén came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Johan Ahlbom made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Sten Engman sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th match minute, FC Raven Saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Ahlén to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Patrik Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Engman in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl-Johan Ahlbom, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Karl-Johan Ahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Odén, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Sten Engman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Karl-Johan Ahlbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl-Johan Ahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Odén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kalle Walroth hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Patrik Odén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Marbäcks FF's Patrik Odén in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Raven Saints's goalie prevented a goal. Karl-Johan Ahlbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Engman went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. FC Raven Saints's Vilhelm Svanström was substituted for Jens-Erik Rydberg. Karl-Johan Ahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Odén in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kalle Walroth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Patrik Odén made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Johan Ahlbom. FC Raven Saints's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Vilhelm Svanström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Sten Engman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Johan Ahlbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. If Sten Engman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Odén in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Ahlbom saved FC Raven Saints from getting behind. FC Raven Saints's Karl-Johan Ahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Odén in the 68th minute of play. Sten Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Ahlbom having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Sten Engman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marbäcks FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Engman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Johan Ahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vilhelm Svanström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Sten Engman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, one of FC Raven Saints:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Raven Saints. 90 minutes into the match, FC Raven Saints's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Odén came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sten Engman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sten Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Ahlbom having to interfere. Sten Engman scored 8-0 in the 100th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Johan Ahlbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Raven Saints's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
