In the 25th minute Jubilo Iwata were awarded a corner. Lars Wallgren went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Jubilo Iwata's Olov Isaksson to fire away a dangerous shot which Erling Ersman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, George Gullesson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustaf Henriksson. George Gullesson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When Jubilo Iwata's Kenny Alström in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skutans FK's goalie prevented a goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Wallgren made a kick off. Karl-Åke Apelkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Erling Ersman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jubilo Iwata's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
