The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Folke Lindqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ola Bergström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingemar Klint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Olsman in the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Hamodi defense, Niklas Olsman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingemar Klint. The FC Hamodi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingemar Klint should have stopped the shot. Folke Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Folke Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Brandt in the 14th minute of play. Ingemar Klint made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niklas Olsman in the 20th minute. Norsborg FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benard Palmington in the 21st minute. Ingemar Klint made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Niklas Olsman sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the game, FC Hamodi's Erling Brandt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Folke Lindqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, FC Hamodi's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Olsman came free, but Ingemar Klint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Niklas Olsman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norsborg FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niklas Olsman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norsborg FK's Folke Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Brandt in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, FC Hamodi's goalkeeper Ingemar Klint had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsi Nielikäinen. In the 42nd minute Jens-Ola Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norsborg FK's Folke Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Ambjörnsson in the 46th minute of play. Folke Lindqvist came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Hamodi's Erling Brandt. But to his dismay, Erling Brandt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. FC Hamodi's Ulf Eriksson was substituted for Felix Brander. After the first half FC Hamodi were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Ola Bergström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Folke Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ola Bergström in the 58th minute of play. Niklas Olsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 60 played minutes Norsborg FK got a freekick which was hit by Peter Paul Xriha. FC Hamodi's Folke Koch was substituted for Jens-Ola Bergström. FC Hamodi's Nils Arvidsson was substituted for Freddie Bergqvist. Edgar Ambjörnsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Folke Lindqvist made a huge save. Niklas Olsman scored 2-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ingemar Klint, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Norsborg FK's Peter Paul Xriha got a free kick in the 69th minute. Ingemar Klint didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikolaj Jerzyk went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Norsborg FK's Folke Lindqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Norsborg FK from getting a goal against them. Eric Bergstedt's late challenge caught a Norsborg FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Bergstedt helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes FC Hamodi got a freekick which was hit by Eric Bergstedt. Ingemar Klint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Jerzyk in the 80th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Norsborg FK! After 83 played minutes Norsborg FK got a freekick which was hit by Peter Paul Xriha. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Hamodi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benard Palmington was slow to take the kick. During this time Norsborg FK's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of FC Hamodi booed when Norsborg FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Stabbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Folke Lindqvist made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Edgar Ambjörnsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute of the match, Erling Brandt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Folke Lindqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Folke Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Koch in the 98th minute of the match. Many of FC Hamodi's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Hamodi may have spent more time on the ball, but Norsborg FK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
