Jens-Ove Näver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Diego Caracciolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niklas Rudkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Österberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peder Almkvist hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Husvagnens FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Näver came free, but Diego Caracciolo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Örtendal's late challenge caught a Husvagnens FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Örtendal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Oliver Örtendal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Ove Näver made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jens-Ove Näver made a precise shot to the right of Diego Caracciolo. Husvagnens FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Håkan Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Per Österberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Rudkvist having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Husvagnens FF's Per Österberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niklas Rudkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, Östersunds FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Norberg to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Husvagnens FF lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
