The audience was convinced that Karl Gallberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingmar Lind was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Birger Bålström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jan Dalgren made a huge save. Malcolm Pilblad helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Birger Bålström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Melker Melin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vejbystrand IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Lidingö's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Uggla came free, but Jan Dalgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingmar Lind stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl Gallberg's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Söder during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lidingö booed when Vejbystrand IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Gallbergs short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Ingmar Lind to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lidingö had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
