David Bergman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rickard Jansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Valla BF's Rickard Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Lenberg in the 5th minute of play. In the 13th minute David Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Jansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Lenberg in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Sven Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kent Lenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kent Lenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rickard Jansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Bergman in the 25th minute of the match. Rickard Jansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Lenberg in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Olofsson in the 28th minute of play forced Storfors AIK's goalkeeper Akram Amgad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Jansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 41 minutes, Filip Nyman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Storfors AIK and the Valla BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rickard Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven Strömberg to make the kick off. Akram Amgad came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Valla BF's Sven Strömberg. But to his dismay, Sven Strömberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Timmy Strömberg hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valla BF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pablo Lizzio was slow to take the kick. During this time Storfors AIK's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Filip Nyman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Valla BF's Rickard Jansson did a great save. Storfors AIK were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Valla BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pablo Lizzio took the corner. The corner led Storfors AIK's Pablo Lizzio to fire away a dangerous shot which Rickard Jansson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Bergman got free with Rickard Jansson in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Valla BF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kent Lenberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Valla BF's zone, Jim Beneth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Jansson came out of the goal and Jim Beneth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Jim Beneth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Sven Olofsson notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Storfors AIK's Akram Amgad. Akram Amgad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute of the match, Kent Lenberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rickard Jansson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Many of Storfors AIK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Storfors AIK may have spent more time on the ball, but Valla BF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
