Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sven Strömberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute, Isak Wickander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valla BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Valla BF's Sven Strömberg got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, Ås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Bäckman to maneuver through the defense. If Hampus Apelquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Valla BF's Sven Strömberg in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ås's goalie prevented a goal. Kristian Lindholm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Åke Moberg's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Kristian Lindholm made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Isak Wickander sent off a good shot on target. Rickard Jansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Vesterberg in the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Ås got a corner. Valla BF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niklas Kielberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Niklas Kielberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rickard Jansson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Timmy Strömberg came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Valla BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timmy Strömberg couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd match minute, Ås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Erik Wennerberg to maneuver through the defense. Sven Strömberg scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristian Lindholm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hampus Apelquist was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Ås's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Albohm came free, but Kristian Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Hampus Apelquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristian Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Strömberg in the 61st minute of the match. If Isak Wickander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sven Strömberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristian Lindholm was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Roger Vesterberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rickard Jansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ås's Kristian Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Strömberg in the 95th minute of play. Valla BF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
