Emanuel Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdem Sonay, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jan-Erik Sandwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Ahlbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Cresencio kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Jan-Erik Sandwall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Ahlbom's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Evert Löfskog kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Emanuel Helström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cecilio Cresencio. Karl-Axel Skräddare's late challenge caught a Besiktas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Axel Skräddare helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Besiktas booed when FC Totti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erdem Sonay made a kick off. If Patrik Ahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdem Sonay scored 1-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Helström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan-Erik Sandwall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isak Siöberg in the 63rd minute of the match. Patrik Ahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Christian Wenerdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Besiktas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Wenerdahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Helström came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Besiktas's Cecilio Cresencio. But to his dismay, Cecilio Cresencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Besiktas fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Totti had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
