Dag Tolsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Conny Bennet put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jan-Erik Sandwall.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Vester to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Vester got free with Jan-Erik Sandwall in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olof Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Lundin in the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 minutes Täfte Flyers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cecilio Cresencio who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Täfte Flyers's goalie and right to Erdem Sonay. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Täfte Flyers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jan-Erik Sandwall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conny Bennet, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute Conny Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Tobias Vester sped through Besiktas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan-Erik Sandwall. Täfte Flyers's Claes Vidman was substituted for Thomas Pihlblad. Olof Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Lundin in the 88th minute of the match. When Marcus Lundblad fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Täfte Flyers's protests and gave Marcus Lundblad a yellow card for diving instead. In the 98th match minute, Täfte Flyers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Lundblad to maneuver through the defense. The Besiktas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Täfte Flyers's performance. The match ended with a win for Täfte Flyers.
