In the 4th minute, Lennart Roos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Östermalms United FC's goalkeeper Erik Haeger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Gunnarsson. After having played for 7 minutes, Dan Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Engelholms FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Eliasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Östermalms United FC's Erik Haeger got control of the ball when Gustav Back tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match, Erik Gunnarsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erik Haeger saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erik Haeger made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Gustav Back sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Engelholms FF getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Erik Gunnarsson hit a great ball. Östermalms United FC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Engelholms FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeffrey Bator took the corner. The corner led Östermalms United FC's Jeffrey Bator to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernard Ramzinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gustav Back's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erik Haeger firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Östermalms United FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gustavo Lopez hit a great ball. Erik Haeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Gunnarsson in the 35th minute of the match. When Erik Gunnarsson came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Engelholms FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Gunnarsson couldn't finish the play. Erik Haeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Gustav Back got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ąžuolas Danisevičius scored 2-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernard Ramzinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ąžuolas Danisevičius was the one to do the kick off. Erik Haeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Back in the 57th minute of play. Erik Gunnarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Haeger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Gunnarsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Erik Haeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Gunnarsson in the 66th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Östermalms United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Gunnarsson came free, but Erik Haeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Engelholms FF's Bernard Ramzinski got control of the ball when Harry Biörkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Gustav Back had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Haeger. Östermalms United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustav Back was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 76th minute, Östermalms United FC's Bernt Örtendal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bernt Örtendal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Östermalms United FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bernt Örtendal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 77 minutes into the game, Engelholms FF's Erik Gunnarsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Haeger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 81st minute, Gustav Back left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Engelholms FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 85th minute, Gustavo Lopez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernard Ramzinski, passed just outside the right post. In the 87th match minute, Östermalms United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adélio Pais to maneuver through the defense. Erik Haeger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Gunnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
