Max Ahlerot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hannes Askelöf fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kvarnbergsplan IF's protests and gave Hannes Askelöf a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Hannes Askelöf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mattias Kaxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linus Smitt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Harry Ström made a huge save. Mattias Kaxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Sundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Linus Smitt came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Björkskatan IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Smitt couldn't finish the play. Arman Sjö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mattias Kaxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Kvarnbergsplan IF's Harry Ström got control of the ball when Linus Smitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot by Lucas Pihlwall from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Harry Ström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constant Maerschalk during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute Vilhelm Billberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Kaxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 68th match minute, Björkskatan IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Mickelsson to maneuver through the defense. If Max Ahlerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Linus Smitt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harry Ström came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Björkskatan IK's Linus Smitt. But to his dismay, Linus Smitt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Roger Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
