In the 5th minute Beniamin Wolczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Kaxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 7th minute, but Mattias Kaxe got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Björkskatan IK hanging dry this time. Mattias Kaxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Olsson in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Björkskatan IK's Linus Smitt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patryk Pieknik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 13 minutes Björkskatan IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jarl Nordlander who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Gunnar Sjöö heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 21 minutes into the match, Björkskatan IK's goalkeeper Mattias Kaxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beniamin Wolczewski. In the 22nd minute, Gunnar Sjöö left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ekaryd FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, Björkskatan IK's Mattias Kaxe got control of the ball when Gunnar Sjöö tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mattias Kaxe was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Gunnar Sjöö capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gunnar Sjöö really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Björkskatan IK's Mattias Kaxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Björkskatan IK from getting a goal against them. Mattias Kaxe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edwin Olsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. When Lucas Pihlwall fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Björkskatan IK's protests and gave Lucas Pihlwall a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Björkskatan IK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Lucas Pihlwall hit a great ball. Mattias Kaxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Olsson in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunnar Sjöö to make the kick off. Björkskatan IK's Mattias Kaxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamin Wolczewski in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes Björkskatan IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jarl Nordlander who took care of the corner kick. Ekaryd FF's Jarl Nordlander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mattias Kaxe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gunnar Sjöö struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Mattias Kaxe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekaryd FF. Sven Ekström hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Constant Maerschalk kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Ekaryd FF booed when Björkskatan IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattias Kaxe came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ekaryd FF's Jarl Nordlander. But to his dismay, Jarl Nordlander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Olsson in the 65th minute of play forced Björkskatan IK's goalkeeper Mattias Kaxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Ekaryd FF were awarded a corner. Jarl Nordlander went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ekaryd FF's corner Jarl Nordlander fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mattias Kaxe quite easily take care of the ball. Gunnar Sjöö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mattias Kaxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Adrian Sörman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Björkskatan IK's Mattias Kaxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Beniamin Wolczewski made a precise shot to the right of Mattias Kaxe. Björkskatan IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Olsson in the 78th minute of play forced Björkskatan IK's goalkeeper Mattias Kaxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekaryd FF's Edwin Olsson got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Beniamin Wolczewski came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ekaryd FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beniamin Wolczewski couldn't finish the play. Mattias Kaxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beniamin Wolczewski in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Beniamin Wolczewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekaryd FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beniamin Wolczewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
