With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristian Sundén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute of the match White Stripes FC got a corner. Tranås BF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karl-Oskar Nordström ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Tranås BF booed when White Stripes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Högberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uğurcan Avcı in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Sundén saved Tranås BF from getting behind. White Stripes FC's Carlos Rojas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save White Stripes FC from getting a goal against them. Edvard Ljungberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Sundén having to interfere. A collision led to White Stripes FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Torsten Mattsson hit a great ball. White Stripes FC's Edvard Ljungberg got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvard Ljungberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
