The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mats Gustafsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludwig Holmberg's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Bantayan BK defense, Wictor Morat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Gustafsson. The Bantayan BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Gustafsson should have stopped the shot. Lennart Telin lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Harry Bäckström had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Simon Skoog's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Harry Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Bantayan BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Simon Skoog in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Simon Skoog almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Higher's Harry Bäckström did a great save. Bantayan BK were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after FC Higher's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Simon Skoog took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Simon Skoog got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Harry Bäckström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Harry Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Higher's Harry Bäckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC Higher from getting a goal against them. When Sture Josefsson came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Bantayan BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sture Josefsson couldn't finish the play. Mats Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Hedkvist in the 34th minute of play. Peter Glanselius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mats Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Morat in the 47th minute of the match. The Bantayan BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Higher were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wictor Morat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wictor Morat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mats Gustafsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Wictor Morat succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 54th playminute. 58 minutes into the match, FC Higher's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Ahlstedt came free, but Harry Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manoel Britto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute Christopher Söderquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, FC Higher's Mats Gustafsson threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wictor Morat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 79th match minute, Bantayan BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ove Ahlstedt to maneuver through the defense. Mats Gustafsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludwig Holmberg in the 80th minute. Harry Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Glanselius in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Christopher Söderquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wictor Morat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Gustafsson having to interfere. FC Higher's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
