After having played for 8 minutes, Göran Browall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Änglarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Browall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquatec FC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Änglarna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tom Söderström took the corner. In the 14th minute Ümit Karan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Bremming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Aquatec FC's Cristián Monasterio got control of the ball when Joar Sjödin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Rang in the 18th minute of play forced Änglarna's goalkeeper Torsten Bremming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes Aquatec FC got a freekick which was hit by Tom Stabbe. The audience was convinced that Ümit Karan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Bremming was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. A hard shot 23 in the game by Joar Sjödin from a close distance when the talented Cristián Monasterio managed to make a qualified save. Aquatec FC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Aquatec FC's zone, John Caspersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristián Monasterio came out of the goal and John Caspersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Gustav Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Änglarna's Torsten Bremming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Lind in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ümit Karan in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Bremming prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Möllgren hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Roger Häll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Bremming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Joar Sjödin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristián Monasterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torsten Bremming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ümit Karan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Stabbe hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Änglarna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joar Billberg in the 58th minute. Vilgot Rang's late challenge caught a Änglarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilgot Rang helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute Roger Häll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Bremming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göran Browall took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristián Monasterio. Cristián Monasterio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 70th minute, Gustaf Ödman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Änglarna's Torsten Bremming proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Änglarna from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Änglarna getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gustaf Ödman hit a great ball. When Ronan Anger fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aquatec FC's protests and gave Ronan Anger a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Änglarna booed when Aquatec FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronan Anger didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ümit Karan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Torsten Bremming made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ümit Karan in the 87th minute. Torsten Bremming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Rang in the 92nd minute of play. Viktor Nordstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Torsten Bremming was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tom Söderström. Änglarna were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aquatec FC for a fine match.
