Bernt Strömqvist hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Daidalos Rigatos in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sture Lindman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gylippus Galitsis in the 35th minute of play forced Östra Torp FC's goalkeeper Sture Lindman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Östra Torp FC got a freekick which was hit by Axel Lange. Sture Lindman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Åke Vallmark in the 39th minute. Marcus Karlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daidalos Rigatos in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sture Lindman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute Daidalos Rigatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Lindman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sture Lindman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gylippus Galitsis in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Karlberg in the 58th minute of play forced FC Köln's goalkeeper Rasmus Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gylippus Galitsis in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sture Lindman saved Östra Torp FC from getting behind. After 60 minutes, Gylippus Galitsis made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Östra Torp FC's Sture Lindman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes into the game, Jörn Ahlström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Östra Torp FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Köln the free kick. After 66 played minutes Östra Torp FC got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Ahlström. When Marcus Karlberg fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Östra Torp FC's protests and gave Marcus Karlberg a yellow card for diving instead. 70 minutes into the match, Östra Torp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gylippus Galitsis came free, but Sture Lindman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Köln's goalkeeper Rasmus Johnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sture Lindman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daidalos Rigatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gylippus Galitsis kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match.
