The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Yacht Club's Uno Kuse got control of the ball when Rutger Beneth tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Yacht Club's goal looked a bit too open when Manny Gol came free, but Uno Kuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rutger Beneth during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uno Kuse was a little too slow when Manny Gol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 5-0. Uno Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manny Gol in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paquito Navarro was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Medelpad U21's Manny Gol got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Manny Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Kuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Medelpad U21's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
