Dachri FF:s Barry Banks showed great skill when he stopped Jörgen Strömberg:s penalty. Jörgen Strömberg scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barry Banks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barnaba Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Nabar in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Jörgen Strömberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barry Banks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Strömberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Barry Banks came out and tried to block the shot, but Jörgen Strömberg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Ahlfors in the 32nd minute of play forced Dachri FF's goalkeeper Barry Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Dachri FF were awarded a corner. Stig Berglund went to the cornerflag to take it. Dachri FF's Stig Berglund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Barnaba Ziomkowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th match minute, IFK Norrköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Ahlbeck to maneuver through the defense. IFK Norrköping's Barnaba Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Berglund in the 42nd minute of play. Gösta Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barry Banks having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Henry Ahlbeck made the kick off in the second half. Barnaba Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 51st minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Malm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barnaba Ziomkowski. IFK Norrköping's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Ove Malm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Ahlbeck in the 66th minute of play forced Dachri FF's goalkeeper Barry Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IFK Norrköping's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stig Berglund ran over to the corner to take the kick. Einar Carlsson made a great header on Dachri FF's corner, it was just that IFK Norrköping's Barnaba Ziomkowski managed to reach the ball for a save.
