An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Solak in the 41st minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Marcin Dziuma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Newton Heath FC booed when Pogoń Stawiszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Olejarz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeusz Solak was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Newton Heath FC's Marcin Dziuma threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matteo Pelani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sylwester Gomolka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Olejarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Sylwester Gomolka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Misiewicz in the 59th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Pogoń Stawiszyn got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Jaworski. Marcin Dziuma was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arbas Acedo. In the 66th minute, Ksawery Andrzejewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pogoń Stawiszyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Sylwester Gomolka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Andrzejewski in the 70th minute of play. Marcin Dziuma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kryspin Kasiewski in the 72nd minute of the match. Kryspin Kasiewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcin Dziuma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Sylwester Gomolka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janusz Olejarz's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Marcin Dziuma got control of the ball when Tadeusz Solak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Tadeusz Solak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Marcin Dziuma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the game, Matteo Pelani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newton Heath FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogoń Stawiszyn the free kick. In the 89th minute, Matteo Pelani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tolek Misiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Newton Heath FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
