With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiktor Szel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wiktor Szel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Misiorowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Liverpool FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludomir Lepucki to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match was over Liverpool FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Juventus Turyn F.C. throughout the match.
