Cyprian Sobania received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Remigiusz Czerniejewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Cyprian Sobania slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Michal Zacharczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. After 41 played minutes Derlacz got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Walkowski. If Jacek Sikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcin Frenzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogumil Januszewski having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Edward Kordalewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Radowit Szotek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogumil Januszewski. Derlacz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radowit Szotek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
