The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacek Polek during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes FC Rumburak got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Polek. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rumburak's zone, Szymon Kendra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zula Gdaniec came out of the goal and Szymon Kendra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cyryl Kajder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Bazan in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, FC Rumburak's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Niziolek came free, but Zula Gdaniec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Rumburak's Zula Gdaniec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FC Rumburak from getting a goal against them. Witalis Pysz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Zula Gdaniec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boruc Marchlewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, FC Rumburak's Tytus Franzik broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The FC Rumburak fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when FC Rumburak's Radoslaw Ziomkowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 33 minutes, Szymon Kendra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hornheim SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Szymon Kendra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincenty Bazan in the 36th minute of play forced Hornheim SA's goalkeeper Cyryl Kajder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radoslaw Ziomkowski to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes FC Rumburak got a freekick which was hit by Wincenty Bazan. Wincenty Bazan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Cyryl Kajder skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Radoslaw Ziomkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Kajder having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Wincent Niziolek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radoslaw Ziomkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cyryl Kajder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hornheim SA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Rumburak's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Rumburak.
