The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, SC Hitmen's Alfred Poreda got control of the ball when Sebastian Wawrukiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Sebastian Wawrukiewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alfred Poreda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pawel Swoboda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Wit Dudkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
