The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Jurand Zagrobelny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ksawery Pieprz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olaf Gmoch was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Arkadiusz Pilarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Kazczyk having to interfere. Fryderyk Dylla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Konrad Kazczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dawid Malewicki's late challenge caught a BKS Siekiera Piła's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dawid Malewicki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute of the match Gwidon Komanski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konrad Kazczyk skillfully saved the ball. Ksawery Pieprz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olaf Gmoch having to make a save. Ksawery Pieprz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Olaf Gmoch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, BKS Siekiera Piła's goalkeeper Olaf Gmoch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcin Karwowski. After a defensive mix-up in RAPID SILESIA's zone, Fryderyk Dylla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Kazczyk came out of the goal and Fryderyk Dylla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcin Karwowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Gmoch having to interfere. In the 41st play minute Marcin Karwowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olaf Gmoch. 1-0. After 48 minutes of play, RAPID SILESIA's Ksawery Pieprz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olaf Gmoch was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Ksawery Pieprz made the kick off in the second half. Robert Sadlowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Olaf Gmoch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to BKS Siekiera Piła getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Miromir Zgonina hit a great ball. Olaf Gmoch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Karwowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Marcin Karwowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Marcin Karwowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olaf Gmoch. BKS Siekiera Piła's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcin Karwowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 81 minutes into the match, RAPID SILESIA's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Pilarski came free, but Konrad Kazczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olaf Gmoch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ksawery Pieprz's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the BKS Siekiera Piła defense, Damian Hetman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olaf Gmoch. The BKS Siekiera Piła fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olaf Gmoch should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, BKS Siekiera Piła's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Pieprz came free, but Olaf Gmoch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, BKS Siekiera Piła was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Bulkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Olaf Furlit hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. BKS Siekiera Piła's Arkadiusz Pilarski got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BKS Siekiera Piła's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
