But to his dismay, Iwo Domarecki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With his leg Cezary Starogardzki managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Böthkenwalde SA's Florian Grocholski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Zygmunt Napierkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cezary Starogardzki was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Böthkenwalde SA's Zygmunt Napierkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Zygmunt Napierkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Böthkenwalde SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zygmunt Napierkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zygmunt Napierkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cezary Starogardzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vanmoons's Dariusz Popowicz got a free kick in the 44th minute. Zygmunt Napierkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Zygmunt Napierkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Böthkenwalde SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Zygmunt Napierkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cezary Starogardzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Florian Grocholski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cezary Starogardzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Grocholski in the 52nd minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Aureliusz Piszczor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cezary Starogardzki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Tobiasz Piechna came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Vanmoons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobiasz Piechna couldn't finish the play. If Zygmunt Napierkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Grocholski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezary Starogardzki having to interfere. Florian Grocholski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Napierkowski in the 78th minute of play forced Vanmoons's goalkeeper Cezary Starogardzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Florian Grocholski notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Vanmoons's Cezary Starogardzki. Cezary Starogardzki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cezary Starogardzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Napierkowski in the 85th minute of the match. When Wieslaw Danisiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vanmoons's protests and gave Wieslaw Danisiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Vanmoons:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Böthkenwalde SA:s goal. The referee gave Böthkenwalde SA a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Szczepan Jazwiec, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vanmoons's Cezary Starogardzki. 3-1. There was no doubt that Böthkenwalde SA were the better team. Böthkenwalde SA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
