Greg Ør took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Rekowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Florian Grocholski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Böthkenwalde SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Grocholski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Kajder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Florian Grocholski put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adam Kajder. After 15 played minutes Böthkenwalde SA got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Smolarek. Greg Ør made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Jakisz in the 16th minute of play. Mariusz Setara hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Florian Grocholski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adam Kajder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adam Kajder was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Zygmunt Napierkowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zygmunt Napierkowski really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Czeslaw Czarnecki fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Böthkenwalde SA's protests and gave Czeslaw Czarnecki a yellow card for diving instead. Czeslaw Czarnecki kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Greg Ør showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Jakisz, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Polska's Adam Kajder got control of the ball when Florian Grocholski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adam Kajder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Napierkowski in the 35th minute of the match. In the 40thth minute of the game Arkadiusz Jakisz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Böthkenwalde SA's Greg Ør was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cezary Rekowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute Arkadiusz Jakisz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greg Ør saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zygmunt Napierkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Florian Grocholski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezary Rekowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Greg Ør when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Polska's Arkadiusz Jakisz got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zygmunt Napierkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Adam Kajder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cezary Rekowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Greg Ør read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Polska's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Napierkowski came free, but Adam Kajder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Florian Grocholski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zygmunt Napierkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Adam Kajder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Grocholski in the 76th minute of play forced Polska's goalkeeper Adam Kajder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play, Polska's Cezary Rekowski made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Greg Ør was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariusz Setara charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariusz Setara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Polska getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Mariusz Setara hit a great ball. Florian Grocholski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ksawery Zurawski hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Greg Ør made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezary Rekowski in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute Zygmunt Napierkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Kajder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Kajder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Grocholski's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Polska's Adam Kajder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Napierkowski in the 92nd minute of play. Mariusz Setara hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Böthkenwalde SA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
